We need all original
invoices from your trade show expenses of the aforementioned items. The German Department of Finance will
only accept original invoices issued to your company as well as copies of certain application forms, i.e. space rental,
booth construction, etc. Photocopies and credit card receipts are not accepted.
These original invoices will be returned to you, after the reimbursement of your tax refund has been processed. In order to make a claim, invoices for each fiscal year have to be
at our office before the end of May of the following year. All German VAT applications covering one calendar year must exceed € 500.00. In our experience, the German Tax
Authorities will take up to 8 - 10 months to process an application after it has been received by them. Your refund will be
paid out directly into your company account.
